The Blue Sky Cellar...

California Adventure has this new "attraction" called the Blue Sky Cellar.  Inside this room are tons of pictures and models of upcoming things that will be coming to the park.  I LOVE it, especially because I am always researching new things that are coming to different theme parks and such.
Take a look at whats ahead!!

Buena Vista Street

When a young and energetic Walt Disney stepped off the train from Kansas City in 1923, he discovered a bustling Los Angeles filled with pedestrian boulevards, charming shops, tantalizing restaurants and shining Red Car Trolleys. Buena Vista Street — the new entrance to Disney's California Adventure® Park — sends you back in time to an idealized version of a city that has always been a beacon of bright optimism and new opportunity.
The Carthay Circle Theatre, where Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered, will anchor the new plaza. It's the perfect place to start your own California adventure!

Coming in 2012!

Paradise Pier

Paradise Pier is a return to the romance, elegance and charm of the great turn of the 20th-century seaside amusement venues. Rich with Disney character — and Disney Characters — exciting new changes are well underway.

Featuring an old-fashioned boardwalk, gingerbread wood trim and delicate Victorian arches, Paradise Pier is a place to discover, to relax and to play. When the sun dips below the horizon and the twinkling lights spring to life, you'll know that you've arrive in the kind of timeless getaway that has inspired romantic dreams for generations!

Cars Land

Blending the magic of Disney stories and characters, the legendary adventure and excitement of Route 66, and California's celebrated car culture, Cars Land recreates the memorable town of Radiator Springs just as it appeared in the Disney·Pixar animated classic, Cars.

You're invited to a town built for, and by, cars. All the locals are home including Lightning McQueen, Sally, Mater, Doc and their friends. The whole city is recreated in loving detail — complete with three new attractions. You'll float on Luigi's Flying Tires, dance to Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and rocket through the desert on Radiator Springs Racers.

Today I am thankful for...

So since it is Thanksgiving this week, I thought for the rest of this week I would post things
I am thankful for...

Today I am thankful for my loving husband!!

He seriously is the BEST!

He knows how to make me happy:
The other day I was gone for a couple hours, and I had mentioned how we really needed to get some cleaning done. (I wasn't implying that he do it, just saying how WE both need to) I can't remember what I was doing, but I was gone for a couple hours.  When I got into our apartment. It was SPOTLESS.  He cleaned the sink, toilet, tub, living room, kitchen (including dishes).  I was so happy! (especially because I was dreading coming home to do it)  He does little things like that to show me he cares :)

He knows how to make me laugh:
Johnny seriously makes me laugh on a daily basis. (Which he mentioned was his goal from day one) Whether its a funny joke or silly dance moves ( and much more) he knows how to put a smile on my face!

He knows how to make me feel loved:
Sometimes Johnny will stop by work just to say hi :) He ALWAYS comes grocery shopping with me.  I HATE going by myself.  For example:
By myself: shopping = 2 hours
With Johnny = 1 hour
haha I always kinda wander when I am by myself, Johnny keeps me on track!
He gives me hugs and kisses!
If he knows I am having a busy day, he will make dinner for us without me asking him to.
And a million more things he does that are just fabulous! But I can't go on forever!

I am so glad I have Johnny in my life. I am so glad he is mine forever and evers!!

I was gonna make you an omelet and tell you all about it...

This weekend was very productive!  Friday night we went over to Court n Nick's casa to have our monthly "themed movie night." We watched Iron Man 2 and ate Omelets.  At first I had no idea what omelets had to do with Iron Man.  But as we were watching the movie there came a part when Pepper Pots didn't know that Tony Stark was dying and he said something along the lines of, "I was gonna make you an omelet and tell you all about it!" haha.  And then for dessert we had a mountain of icecream with whipped cream, crushed oreos, chocolate syrup, and reeses hard shell shtuff. It was very delicious!!

Saturday we were in SLC for Johnny's teams championship game against Olympus! Sadly, they didn't win :(  But they played hard! My pops came to the game with me, so that was fun to have someone sit with me! After that Johnny and I went shopping for our families Christmas presents! After like 2 hours we only found a gift for my mom! ahh! oh and some shtuff for me! yay!  After that my mom took me shopping for a few hours and we went to Fashion place and got me some presents! yay!

Sunday: Harry Potter 5 & 6 ACCOMPLISHED!!! I am ready for the weekend now to see the 7th Harry Potter! Its gonna be gooooood!

To Save a Life

This was one of our recent Netflix movies.  I had never heard of it, but Johnny heard from someone that it was good.  I really enjoyed it. It really made me think...Here is the synopsis on IMDb:

After a childhood friend's death, Jake Taylor, an all-star athlete must change his life -
and sacrifice his dreams to save the lives of others.

Did I do everything I could've while I was in school to be nice to everyone? Did I leave anyone out? I recall a few situations where I befriended a new student or someone who may have not had many friends.  But was that enough? I know I can still do that now...but it's harder when I am not in a setting where I meet new people and such. After the movie I went and talked to my parents about it. I like having discussions with them.  My dad thought he would be clever and busted out  a hymn:

Have I done any good in the world today? Have I helped anyone in need? Have I cheered up the sad, made someone feel glad? If not I have failed indeed....

In this movie it also had religion in it. Not specifically the LDS church, but another Christian church.  In the movie there was a situation where the main character wanted to bring his GF to a youth activity.  So she came.  The whole time she felt like she was being judged.  It's sad, aren't we supposed to be the church that welcomes all? Aren't we supposed to be Christ-like? I think that is something we all need to work on! Judge less and love more!!

Haha I kinda feel like I am giving a talk now, but its just something I wanted to share!

The Weekend...

This weekend was quite eventful and alot of fun!

Friday:
Cami and Chris hosted dinner at their casa.  It was a lot of fun to hangout! Johnny made 7 layer dip which was delicious ofcourse! Johnny is a fabulous helper. We had a yummy taco bar.  Us girls left the men to go to the mall, I haven't been to the mall with a group of girls in FOREVER! It was fun to hang. Bad timing though because we got there at like 830 and the mall clearly closes at nine!

Saturday:
Congrats to Johnny's football team! They won! So they will be going to the championships this weekend! Court J and I hung out in the afternoon and made invites for our friend Cami's bridal shower, it was a lot of fun!  We went to our friends house in the evening and played the Kinect (what? you aren't a nerd and you have NO idea what that is? click here.) It was wayyy fun! It kicked my butt! You are constantly moving around! Its like the Wii but you don't have to have a remote and it scans your whole body.

Accomplishments:
Finished Gossip Girl Season 1...LOVED IT!! On to Season 2!!!
Finished Breaking Dawn! LOVED IT!!! On to The Hunger Games...

My CRRRAZY Dreams Lately...

Why can't I always dream that I am in Disneyland, Hawaii, or some other fabulous Vaca spot! Nooooo my CRAZY mind has to take me weird places.

2 nights ago:
Rrright before bead Johnny had asked me what I wanted to do on my birthday, all I said was, "I dunno, you plan it."
DREAM:  I am at work and NOBODY mentions happy birthday or anything to me and we didnt go out to lunch (my boss aka dadeo takes his employees out to lunch on their bdays, so kind) I get home and Johnny and I go to a BINGHAM Football game...then we go home and everyone yells SUPRISE...yet it was everyone who was in my FOURTH grade class...besides my besties. So I asked where my bffs were and Johnny said oh they couldnt make it..PFT!
DREAM 2: haha FINALLY I have stopped dreaming about my own wedding. Cami had 2 awesome french braids, ugly dress (her real dress is BEAUTIFUL!!!) and we were like in a gym and me and Court J jumped off the bleachers and for some reason I had my shears in my hand and kinda cut a chunk out her hair on accident as we fell...oops.

Last Night:
DREAM:
So I have been graduated for what, 3 and a half years now? Do I really need to dream that I am back in highschool yet also married to Johnny? AND I seem to ALWAYS forget where my locker is and the combination.  Then its like I have been out of school for a couple months so I am gonna fail my classes and i have a test and I don't know any of the answers. UGH  Hate those dreams.

Thats all I have for now. Hopefully tonight I will dream about being on a beach doing NOTHING with my life. just relaxin!

Volunteer

Sooooo I watched Extreme Makeover:Home Edition again today and I have come to this conclustion:

I NEED TO DO MORE VOLUNTEER WORK!!  I get so happy seeing people volunteer on the show...and pretty darn sure doing it would help make my life even better!

NEW YEARS RESOLUTION:
Try and volunteer once a month.  I printed out all of these different places in Utah where you can do volunteer work and I am pretty excited to get started on it!

The past few weeks!

These past few weekends have been wayyy super busy for Johnny and me.  Last Friday we had a fun night with our group of married/engaged friends at our "Themed Movie Night". This month was: Mr. Fantastic Fox, we had some wayyy good Chicken with Dumplings that Ashley made.
***P.S. I am SO lucky to have the friends I have. They really are so amazing :) And they mean so much to me.  LOVE YOU ALL!

Then last Saturday we went to Lagoon with the fam and Frightmares was open so that was fun.  So not gonna lie....some of those rides at lagoon made me a lil dizzy in the head. UM WHAT?!? I am only 21!! Why is this madness happening now?! I thought its supposed to wait until I have kids. Psh. And thankyou everyone who came for not making me go on The Rocket, freaking HATE that ride. Not fun at all, just makes me wanna shiz my pants. No fun.

This weekend was CONFERENCE which was awesome as usual!! When the men went to priesthood, my mom, Katie, Anne and I went to Roberts to get good deals on scrapbook stuff and CAFE RIO! YUM! And then I cut Anne's hair for her :) Twas a fun night!

Rourals also came home this weekend so that was fun! He got the new Halo: Reach game for the 360 so we played alot of that! It was way fun! Kinda want it for my bday/christmas now!

Finally a new post!

Hello all! I know I haven't posted in FOREVER!!! But here are some updates on our lives:

Johnny just stared school last wednesday.  He is in his 4th semester at SLCC. And he will have his Associates by the end of Spring Semester.  I am so proud of him!  He also got onto the Multicultural Committee! There are only about five people on it so I was very proud when he got picked to join the committee! He will be doing ALOT of service and helping those in the community with different ethnic backgrounds!  Outside of school Johnny has started assistant coaching the 13-14 year olds in football for BINGHAM!! Haha I never thought I would see my hubby in my school's colors/paraphenilia!! He is loving every minute of it! He is still working at the dental office and does such a great job there! He is busy busy busy, but I am glad he is getting to do things he enjoys :)

Nothing has changed much with me...Just working full-time!
