Today I am thankful for...

So since it is Thanksgiving this week, I thought for the rest of this week I would post things
I am thankful for...

Today I am thankful for my loving husband!!

He seriously is the BEST!

He knows how to make me happy:
The other day I was gone for a couple hours, and I had mentioned how we really needed to get some cleaning done. (I wasn't implying that he do it, just saying how WE both need to) I can't remember what I was doing, but I was gone for a couple hours.  When I got into our apartment. It was SPOTLESS.  He cleaned the sink, toilet, tub, living room, kitchen (including dishes).  I was so happy! (especially because I was dreading coming home to do it)  He does little things like that to show me he cares :)

He knows how to make me laugh:
Johnny seriously makes me laugh on a daily basis. (Which he mentioned was his goal from day one) Whether its a funny joke or silly dance moves ( and much more) he knows how to put a smile on my face!

He knows how to make me feel loved:
Sometimes Johnny will stop by work just to say hi :) He ALWAYS comes grocery shopping with me.  I HATE going by myself.  For example:
By myself: shopping = 2 hours
With Johnny = 1 hour
haha I always kinda wander when I am by myself, Johnny keeps me on track!
He gives me hugs and kisses!
If he knows I am having a busy day, he will make dinner for us without me asking him to.
And a million more things he does that are just fabulous! But I can't go on forever!

I am so glad I have Johnny in my life. I am so glad he is mine forever and evers!!

I was gonna make you an omelet and tell you all about it...

This weekend was very productive!  Friday night we went over to Court n Nick's casa to have our monthly "themed movie night." We watched Iron Man 2 and ate Omelets.  At first I had no idea what omelets had to do with Iron Man.  But as we were watching the movie there came a part when Pepper Pots didn't know that Tony Stark was dying and he said something along the lines of, "I was gonna make you an omelet and tell you all about it!" haha.  And then for dessert we had a mountain of icecream with whipped cream, crushed oreos, chocolate syrup, and reeses hard shell shtuff. It was very delicious!!

Saturday we were in SLC for Johnny's teams championship game against Olympus! Sadly, they didn't win :(  But they played hard! My pops came to the game with me, so that was fun to have someone sit with me! After that Johnny and I went shopping for our families Christmas presents! After like 2 hours we only found a gift for my mom! ahh! oh and some shtuff for me! yay!  After that my mom took me shopping for a few hours and we went to Fashion place and got me some presents! yay!

Sunday: Harry Potter 5 & 6 ACCOMPLISHED!!! I am ready for the weekend now to see the 7th Harry Potter! Its gonna be gooooood!

To Save a Life

This was one of our recent Netflix movies.  I had never heard of it, but Johnny heard from someone that it was good.  I really enjoyed it. It really made me think...Here is the synopsis on IMDb:

After a childhood friend's death, Jake Taylor, an all-star athlete must change his life -
and sacrifice his dreams to save the lives of others.

Did I do everything I could've while I was in school to be nice to everyone? Did I leave anyone out? I recall a few situations where I befriended a new student or someone who may have not had many friends.  But was that enough? I know I can still do that now...but it's harder when I am not in a setting where I meet new people and such. After the movie I went and talked to my parents about it. I like having discussions with them.  My dad thought he would be clever and busted out  a hymn:

Have I done any good in the world today? Have I helped anyone in need? Have I cheered up the sad, made someone feel glad? If not I have failed indeed....

In this movie it also had religion in it. Not specifically the LDS church, but another Christian church.  In the movie there was a situation where the main character wanted to bring his GF to a youth activity.  So she came.  The whole time she felt like she was being judged.  It's sad, aren't we supposed to be the church that welcomes all? Aren't we supposed to be Christ-like? I think that is something we all need to work on! Judge less and love more!!

Haha I kinda feel like I am giving a talk now, but its just something I wanted to share!

The Weekend...

This weekend was quite eventful and alot of fun!

Friday:
Cami and Chris hosted dinner at their casa.  It was a lot of fun to hangout! Johnny made 7 layer dip which was delicious ofcourse! Johnny is a fabulous helper. We had a yummy taco bar.  Us girls left the men to go to the mall, I haven't been to the mall with a group of girls in FOREVER! It was fun to hang. Bad timing though because we got there at like 830 and the mall clearly closes at nine!

Saturday:
Congrats to Johnny's football team! They won! So they will be going to the championships this weekend! Court J and I hung out in the afternoon and made invites for our friend Cami's bridal shower, it was a lot of fun!  We went to our friends house in the evening and played the Kinect (what? you aren't a nerd and you have NO idea what that is? click here.) It was wayyy fun! It kicked my butt! You are constantly moving around! Its like the Wii but you don't have to have a remote and it scans your whole body.

Accomplishments:
Finished Gossip Girl Season 1...LOVED IT!! On to Season 2!!!
Finished Breaking Dawn! LOVED IT!!! On to The Hunger Games...
